1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Strophicus ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Application.

2. Description of Service

Strophicus is a piano training and music composition software application that provides:

  • Visual piano learning with falling notes visualization
  • MIDI file import and playback
  • MIDI keyboard integration
  • Music composition tools (PRO feature)
  • Practice exercises and progress tracking

3. License Types

3.1 Free Version

The free version of Strophicus includes limited features:

  • Up to 3 MIDI file imports
  • Basic exercises
  • Standard piano instrument

3.2 PRO License

The PRO license is a one-time purchase (€24.90) that grants you:

  • Unlimited MIDI imports
  • Access to Composer Mode
  • All exercises and instruments
  • Audio-to-MIDI conversion
  • Future updates at no additional cost
  • Priority customer support

4. License Grant and Restrictions

4.1 Grant: Upon purchase of a PRO license, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to use Strophicus on your devices.

4.2 Restrictions: You may NOT:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the Application
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application
  • Rent, lease, or lend the Application to third parties
  • Share, transfer, or resell your license key
  • Use the Application for commercial purposes without written permission

5. Payment and Refunds

5.1 Payment: All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

5.2 Refund Policy: We offer a 14-day refund policy from the date of purchase. To request a refund, please contact us at [email protected].

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Application are owned by Strophicus. Your compositions created using Strophicus belong to you.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STROPHICUS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR THE USE OF THE APPLICATION.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
